Actually they do make sand shoes. Can't remember where I heard that but they do. Perhaps I heard it because, living very nearl Lake Michigan where there are some stupendous and gorgouse dunes (look up Sleeping Bear Dunes), there is an actual demand for such things. Not sure but I think they might use regular snow shoes.. Good luck on your hunt and let me know what you find out. Keep up the (really) excellent work.-- Brenda

Kathi, this is a very visually compelling work. I feel as though I'm IN Dr. Zhivago, in that time and place. My toes are even cold. Most excellent work. Favorite indeed.
