Artist's Description
The Lichgate Oak is the most beautiful Live Oak tree I've ever seen. It is over 300 years old and has been allowed to grow, spread, and drape across the ground naturally. The Lichgate Oak is protected on the estate of the late Dr. Laura Jepson, Florida State University professor for some 30 years. Named Lichgate On High Road, her estate consists of three wooded acres with the Lichgate Oak, Dr. Jepson's hand-built tudor cottage, her lichgate, and several gardens. It is located near the FSU campus and the center of Tallahassee, state capital of Florida. Dedicated volunteers take loving care of it all. "In the end some find the way home - through the Wardrobe, the Looking Glass, or perhaps through the Lichgate." ~ from the website, www.lichgate.com

I started with traditional black and white silver prints and mixed...
