About Kathi Shotwell
Art is communication, and no art is finished until it is shared. It is my pleasure to share mine with you here. I love the light. The way it caresses shapes and forms. This is a very beautiful picture of a very beautiful flower :) Love it! I love the subtle hints of color through it. Did you individualy highlight the colors?
Kathi Shotwell replied:
Thank you so much, Alyssa! The colors are part of the post processing, butI tweaked them a little.

Odd Jeppesen
Beautiful and dramatic. B&W seems to enhance the textures of the petals.
Kathi Shotwell replied:
Thanks Odd! There is a touch of color all over it, and that may add to the texture too. It doesn't show except in the hi-rez preview. This one definitely needs a wall to bring out its best.
