Art is communication, and no art is finished until it is shared. It is my pleasure to share mine with you here. I love the light. The way it caresses shapes and forms. The way it can stop motion or enhance it. The way it can hide things in shadows or highlights... and reveal them to those who look closely. I always struggle with what to do with those glaringly naked corners when I try to crop a round flower into the 5x5 format I want to use. I never thought of pulling the flower into a square.... But then again I'm taking photograph.... I love these colors.

In a photograph those naked corners are breathing room... but now you've given me a new idea! I'm happy someone likes the colors. I was having fun with an ochre mix here. Like most of my painting, these flowers were more about colors and playing with the paint, and not so much about real flowers.
